The Effect

A clinical romance. Two young volunteers take part in a pharmaceutical drugs trial. This funny, moving play explores questions of sanity, neurology and the limits of medicine, asking what makes us who we are and who we love.

What makes The Effect so special is that as well as being a play of ideas, it is also deeply moving, both in its depiction of the giddy wonder of love, and also in its account of the terrifying wasteland of depression itself.

Eurydice

A reimagining of the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld, where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. The play is a contemporary look at a timeless love story.

Rhapsodically beautiful. A weird and wonderful new play - an inexpressibly moving theatrical fable about love, loss and the pleasures and pains of memory.

Posh

A satirical fly-on-the-wall account of a disgraceful and violent meeting of an all-male Oxford University dining club.

Wade deftly skewers the sense of entitlement that swirls like a sickly perfume around a certain kind of upper-class thug. Her characters seem to have everything, yet whinge relentlessly....Posh combines twisted humour with ripe excess and a cruelly precise topicality.
